This major is available through the TROY Online.
AREA I-V Recommendations
AREA I:
A grade of "C" or higher is required in Composition I and II at 快猫成版视频. "D" grades will not transfer.
AREA II:
When selecting courses from Areas II and IV, please note that at least one 6sh sequence in either Literature (Area II) or History (Area IV) must be completed.
AREA III:
A grade of "C" or higher is required in the Math course chosen. "D" grades will not transfer. Students attending TROY are required to complete a Precalculus Algebra course. Students attending a community college are strongly encouraged to complete MTH 112 (Precalculus Algebra) in Area III to meet this requirement.
AREA IV:
When selecting courses from Areas II and IV, please note that at least one 6sh sequence in either Literature (Area II) or History (Area IV) must be completed.
AREA V:
The remaining 19sh in Area V can be obtained by taking 19sh from the following:
- ORI 101 (Orientation to College) (1 SH)
- CIS 146 (Microcomputer Applications) (3 SH)
- BIO 101 or BIO 103 (Intro to Biology I or Prin of Biology I) (4SH)
- BIO 102 or 104 (Intro to Biology II or Prin of Bio II) OR PHS 112 (Physical Science II) (4 SH)
- BIO 201 (Human Anatomy & Physiology I) (4SH)
- BIO 202 (Human Anatomy & Physiology II) (4SH)
- HEC 140 (Principles of Nutrition) (3SH)
- MTH 112 (Precalculus Algebra) (3sh) If not taken in Area III
快猫成版视频 Baccalaureate Degrees
The student seeking a baccalaureate degree must meet the following credit hour requirements:
- A minimum of 120 SH
- At least 50 percent of the degree program must be traditional academic credit.
- No more than 25 percent of the degree program may be earned using portfolio based credit.
- At least 25 percent of the degree program must be completed with 快猫成版视频.
- Twelve (12) semester hours of work in each major field must be completed in residence
at 快猫成版视频.
